Early owners discovered it was disabled by default and, even when enabled, some SACD discs still exhibited small gaps at track boundaries.

Shanling acknowledged the issue publicly, removed the gapless claim from marketing materials, and committed to firmware fixes. Multiple updates (V1.8, V1.9) have shipped.
