Vinvac is a manual cleaning machine for LPs using a wet vacuum cleaning process. Being of an attractive design it does not need to be hidden away. The cleaning liquid is applied manually to each side separately. The machine provides for rotation of the record as well as suction of the cleaning liquid.
The cleaning machine contains an electric motor which rotates the supporting platter. The record is clamped on the spindle of the supporting platter. The cleaning liquid is applied to the record surface and spread across the grooves with the supplied applicator brush. Liquid is removed from the rotating record via the suction arm nozzle, through the vacuum motor and into the reservoir. The process is then repeated for the other side of LP and the clean record should then, preferably, be stored in a new record sleeve. Such manual operation needs minimum skill, can be easily learned and allows for closer inspection of cleaned surfaces than fully automated cleaning machines.
